Planning your wedding in London

One of the best and potentially most expensive wedding destinations in the world, London has a huge selection of historic and contemporary locations and venues for you to choose from. With so much choice, it can be overwhelming planning a wedding in the city. Try not to feel rushed, there are plenty of fantastic suppliers and you are bound to find ones who are available on your wedding and are within your budget. While Londoners complain about the traffic, it's generally pretty easy to get around so don't be afraid to book a South London-based supplier for your wedding in North-East London.

Where to start?

2 Now that you're all set with your budget, it's time to get an idea of the guest numbers. You may need to go back and revisit your budget depending on numbers. Our free guest tracker in the planning tools section will help you store all names and details.

3 Next, it's time to find your dream venue. Deconsecrated church in South London or converted mill over in the East. From fancy hotels to city pubs there's something for everyone. You may need to book a separate venue for the ceremony.

6 If food and drink is not in the venue package and this is something you need to source separately then it's worth getting your catering sorted. Plus, you get to enjoy all the tasting. Fortunately, London is the culinary capital of the world and has plenty of choice and limitless cuisines.
